Bus (Nice - "La Colombière")
The bus leaves right from Terminal One at Nice Airport and takes about 2 1/2 hours through some beautiful scenery.
This bus also leaves from the main bus terminal in Nice, in case you decide to spend some quality "shopping-time" in Nice before or after your stay with us.
The ticket costs Euro 20.60 per pers/one-way and for an up to date schedule from Nice airport to Digne, click here. There is only one bus per day and they do not run on Sundays.
The closest bus stop to us is in Châteauredon and if you let us know beforehand we can arrange for a pick up.
The most convenient way, of course is to rent a car, which also makes it a lot easier to explore our neighbourhood.

Train des pignes (Nice - "La Colombière")
Should you prefer to travel by train from Nice to Digne, the historic "Train des pignes" is the perfect choice to enjoy the changing landscape from the coast to the Haute Provence.
In the old days the trains went so slow up hill that the passengers got out of the train to collect pine cones to fuel the steam engine, hence the name. It might not be the most comfortable way to travel but definitely an experience to remember.

The train leaves from the train starion in Nice and currently costs Euro 21.80 one-way
To get to the train station from the airport you can take the bus No. 23 to the station "Gutenberg" or simply call a taxi.
The closest train station to us is in Mezel, and like with the bus, we can arrange for a pick up if you let us know your arrival times in advance.
